Medications since being discharged from the hospital after surgery

This is the medication we were given when we were discharged from the hospital, it depends on your Doctor what medicine he well give you.

(ito po yung binigay ng gamot sa amin nung na discharged kami sa ospital, depende po sa doctor niyo kung anong gamot na maibibigay sa inyo.)

Digoxin (Lanoxin)

It works by affecting certain minerals (soduim and pottasium) inside heart cells. This reduces strain on the heart and helps it maintain a normal, steady, and strong heartbeat.

(Gumagana ito sa pamamagitan ng pag-apekto sa ilang mga minerals (sodium at pottasium) sa loob ng mga selula ng puso. Binabawasan nito ang strain sa puso at tinutulungan itong mapanatili ang isang normal, matatag, at malakas ng tibok ng puso.)

 

Furosemide

Is used to treat edema (fluid retention; excess fluid held in body tissues) caused by various medical problems, including heart, kidney, and liver disease. Furosemide is in a class of medications called diuretics ('water pills').

(Ginagamit upang gamitin ang edema (pagpapanatili ng likido; labis na likido na hawak sa mga tissue ng katawan.) na sanhi ng iba't ibang problemang medikal, kabilang ang sakit sa puso, bato, at atay. Ang furosemide ay nasa isang klase ng medication na tinatawag na diuretics ('water pills').

When the child is drink, it's divided depending on the grams given by the doctor, it can be bought in mercury drug and they call it paper tablet.

Captopril

Is used as a medicine for hypertension (high blood pressure). It also protects the kidney from diabetic damage and to improve survival after heart attack.

Sildenafil

Is also sometimes used to treat pulmonary hypertension highblood pressure in the blood vessels that supply the lungs.

Spironolactone

Controls high blood pressure, edema, heart failure, and hyperaldosteronism but does not cure these conditions. It may take about 2 week or longer before the full effect of spironolactone even if you feel well.

Is a medication used for the treatment of numerous infections, including but not limited to septicemia, intra abdominal infections, lower respiratory infections, gynecological infections, bone and joint infections, skin, and skin structure infections.
